Shree Padmavathi Mahila Hindu College of Education was founded in the year 1977 by Sri Daita Madhusudana Shastry, Advocate by profession, a great administrator & visionary.His inherent spontaneity, vivacity and compassionate heart urged him to reach out the neediest. S.P.M.H.College of Education owes every thing to this great Personality who initiated it. It was inaugurated by Minister for Education and Cultural Affairs Honorable Sri M.V.Krishna Rao. The function was presided over by Sri M.V.Rajagoal LA.S., Vice-Chancellor JNTU Hyderabad, attended by a galaxy of MP's and MLA's and intellectuals from different districts of Andhra Pradesh and elite of the Town Machilipatanm.

A former student of the same Institution, and has been working as a faculty member since 1985. Present the principal of the Institution. Awarded doctorate by ANU in Education on the topic of Environmental attitude. Authored nearly 10 books on the Syllubus and Curriculum of B.Ed Cource in Engilish and Telugu. Couple of papers Published in deffrent Journals and an awarddee of Intel 'best teacher award' in the Year 2010. Machilipatnam
